Driver's Way - Pelham, AL

Did anyone on this site purchase a 2004 Silver MM with approx. 67K miles on it from Driver's Way in Pelham, AL in the past few weeks? I actually bought it in late March, but returned it under their 3-day return policy. If you are on this site, how do you like it?

I was gonna buy that one until i seen CarMax had one in Ky with way lower miles....
why did u return it?

It was a little rougher than I wanted. For example - some of the gauge lights were out, one of the speakers didn't work, one of the headlights was fogging up, some of the window seals needed attention, etc. Driver's Way said they would fix all of the items, but I didn't want to deal with it. They should have caught these items in their "240 Point Inspection".

It also seemed like some other things had been done to it. I looked under the car and it looked like the exhaust system had been altered. I also suspect that the chip had been replaced, based on the car's performance. I didn't know much about MM's at that point. I wanted to start with a stock MM. I ended up buying a really nice one from a member of this site. I've learned a lot about MM's over the past month or so. I'm glad I returned it.
