What did everyone find out regarding our oil pressure gauge, and have we found a fix? Anyone know if we have an A pillar pod that will work in this car?

The oil pressure guage is a "fake". The oil pressure sending unit is a simple on/off switch not a variable pressure switch.

As for A pillar pods you might try AutoMeter as they do make them for other models... you might also ask on www.CrownVic.net.

This may be a stupid question, but can't we just buy a real sender unit from someone and keep the gage we have where it is.

Hopefully we can...I have e-mailed AutoMeter with that very question..and requesting the Part Numbers if it is available... I will post their response as soon as I get it.
