Hey guys… Trust me when I say that I have used the search function at CV.net over the past few days, but I have still found nothing that describes the problem that I am experiencing…
While driving, the car feels like the Torque Converter will very briefly unlock and then the TC (Traction Control) light will come on steady… Within 10-20 seconds, the Check Engine light will come on and the car stalls, at any speed… If I pull over and turn the key off, the lights clear and the cars re-starts as if nothing has happened. I could get 5 miles down the road until it happens again or 500 feet. It actually got progressively worse while limping home (10-15 times) and began happening continuously…
Any thoughts before I start trying things this weekend???

I couldn't get any new codes to come up this weekend... If I pull out the chip, with the Marauder Air Box and larger MAF, will it run correctly or start a whole new problem??? I also need to have the emissions here in Northern Virginia done and I heard that in order for the ECM to talk to the Emissions Machine, I need to either pull the chip or try removing a pin (#13?) on the data port... There were no communications when I had the car at the station... Any thoughts?

Yes, either pull pin 13 on the OBDII port, or get an adapter cable from SCT or from Lidio. I have one of those...inexpensive and works fine.

Would a retune either with the chip or an Xcal solve this?
If I pull out the chip, with the Marauder Air Box and larger MAF, will it run correctly or start a whole new problem?
Remove the MAF, airbox, and chip and you should be good to go. Granted, the plugs are a degree colder but you should be fine running 93.
Once you past emissions, you could then reinstall everything and have the car tuned locally.
Hope this helps.

Did you drive it around for a few days before you had it inspected? I pulled my tune out before a inspection and the readout said the computer wasnt ready and couldnt do the inspection.
Im not a trans expert, but does it have a TCCS?
Trans Converter Clutch Solenoid.
Could be the issue?

I pulled pin #13 and whatever that did, it worked...
I passed VA Emissions yesterday!!!
Thanks for the help guys. I will post up when I figure out the TC issues. I was taking the car into the shop this morning and didn't get more than a 1/4mile from the house before it stalled out. I limped it home so I can mess with it later... That's not a good experience in Northern VA rush hour traffic... :(
