There I was, driving on Jefferson Pkwy. For those of you not familiar with Dallas, it's basically a 4 lane divided highway that runs through an industrial zone.

I'm sitting at a red light, and this total P.O.S. Honda Accord pulls up. Lemme paint the picture: Mostly gray primer with a blue driver's door, yellow bumper, driver's side rear wheel was a donut spare! the obligatory big ass aluminum wing, and ... get this, ... NOS, Flowmaster, and Summit stickers and the best part: on the window behind the the drivers window was a 1/4 mile time, ... 9.69! :bs: HAHAHA! yeah right! OK ,... the driver: Basically Joe Dirt's ugly cousin! I $h!t you not!

He revs his little engine, I laughed so hard he had to hear me! OK,OK, Joe Dirt ... it's on! I turn off O/D and the light turns green. I stomped the gas. nice chirp, loud vrooom! I'm off like a prom dress. I look in my rear view, the little Honda is become very small! A quick look to the spedo, .. oh poop! I'm doing 80 in a 40! Time for brakes. the lil Honda that could overtakes me about 30 seconds later. Joe Dirt is pumping his fist in victory! I'll tell ya,.. I almost peed my pants!!! I laughed so hard I had tears.

It made me feel better,.. kinda,.. cause about 5 minutes earlier I straight up got smoked by a Mustang GT.(2001 maybe?) OK before the flaming starts, I don't know what he had in mods but he had Bear brakes in all corners,so it surely wasn't stock. He chirped,.. hmm,.. no... barked his tires in every gear, well at least the first 3. Damn 5 speeds. Well,.. gonna have to call Dennis soon!

Petro--Great story---- I see from your sig that you don't have the 410's and chip--is that correct? --If you had those --you most likely could have made that GT suffer possibly from what others here on the board have told us.......at least a stronger run for sure.....

I'm definitely gonna get a chip eventually, and I've been thinking hard about the 4:10s and a metal matrix drive shaft.

Today, just reinforced the fact that I need some go-fast goodies!

What's even worse is I've had guys do the loser fly by with video camera's rolling...

They then post that footage up on the net giving themselves props... Happened to me in my 99 L...

Had a riced out honda just get completely annilihated by my L, only for them to do a loser fly by with video rolling...

So, my advice to prevent that type of bull, if you see a Loser fly by about to occur, make sure you flip your 4 ways on...

hmmm,... now that is truely sad. Well, if this guy had a camera, he should've spent the money on a matching paint job. or a new rear tire.

I love beating up on these fast and furious freaks. They see a movie and go out and put a set of bleacher seats on their trunks and call it a spoiler. Then they put a coffee can on the exhaust and stick on tattoo's on the side and think they got something. Most are school kids that don't have respect for big american muscle.

That scenario might be the one valid excuse for corner strobes and wig-wags

That time on his window was probably for an 1/8 mile strip:lol:

I've beaten a couple of GT's with my Diablo chip and stock rear end. Both have been from a running start on the freeway, however. I think I might have a harder time off the line without some more goodies on my MM. Come on, Santa Claus!

I like to think of it as a shopping cart handle rather than a bleacher seat..lol It seems the ricer community has to race our heavy cars in order to get a decent race. Sad thing is, they still lose. I had of all cars a Saturn with a fart cannon try me one time. I left him at the intersection when the light went green.

In reguars to the multi colored paint job and stickers, well it adds horsepower they say:bs: :bs: :bs: :bs:

I took a new GT at the track on Friday night. It was very close, he had me in first, but i pulled on him as he was rowing through the gears. I only had him by a hair through the traps.

I also walked a nice Fox body LX on my first run (the 14.19). He appeared quite agitated when my 4356 lb monster was spiiting exhaust at him.

Constable--- I can't wait to hear the results of your new Kook's system with all of the goodies. I was set to go with that, and then I saw Sarge's new post about Dennis' new exhaust, so, I'm back to debating which will be the best for me. Keep us informed.
