Well on my way home from getting a haircut and some guy turned left in front of me. Could not do anything in time and I T-boned him.
Front end is total smashed. From the doors back the car looks perfect but the engine is in the firewall. The windshield didn't even crack, airbag went off perfectly, I hopped out not a scratch on me.
Florida Highway Patrol ticketed him with an illegal maneuver, and driving without a license. Oh yeah and its his Moms car a 95 Buick. He was beat up but walking glass all in him.
MEMHM79V14X620425 add it to the list. Cop estimated $10k worth of damage. Car had over 80k miles so it should be totaled.
I'll post a few pics tomorrow.

Another one bites the dust. :( Fortunately you were well protected from injury. That's the most important thing. Still, it's sad to know that the Marauder count has declined by one. Best of luck to you.

Boy i'm sorry to hear this. It's been a small while since we've had a totalled one, it seemed like weekly before.
I'm glad to hear she protected you just like most others have.
Does anyone know of a serious or fatal injury involving a MM?

Are you going to buy it back??? Maybe part it out and help out some who need the parts, or try to put it back together.
Sorry to hear about the accident. We all treat our cars like they are a member of the family, and it's sad to see them go..
Sorry to hear about it and glad you were able to walk away. Now it's time to start looking for another one :D

Does anyone know of a serious or fatal injury involving a MM?Yes! There ironically was a fatal accident involving a MM, just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis while we were there for MV7.

Sorry to hear it...people have been driving extra poorly this month, it seems.
Sorry to hear the sad news.
This is one of the reasons I'm thinking of putting a PUSH BAR on mine.

Man, loss of the car sucks, but it's good that you're okay. Similar circumstances with my DTR a couple years ago; wife was driving, came out unhurt, thanks to the Panther platform.
Collect the insurance money and go looking for another one.

Thanks everyone. I'm still fine a little sore today that's it. At the time I didn't care who's fault it was I was just glad we were both walking.
I'm gonna wait for the insurance and start shopping for a new Silver one or maybe even see if I can find a Blue out there. It will be hard to find another one like mine. It was the Silver Birch with the Charcoal Interior and I have actually never seen another one in person. I'm not sure if the combination is rare or if I just don't see them.
Maybe I can buy the car back once it is totaled. What would they probably want for that?
Gonna get my day started then upload photos later.

Sorry to hear about what happened. I noticed way too many morons on the road lately. Just wrong place at the wrong time.
I have seen plenty of SB with the dark interior, I think you'll have no problem finding a replacement

KenI believe this is the incident where the car went off a bridge.

Now that I'm looking I have found a couple Silvers with the Charcoal Interior. Might have to travel but that's fine with me. A road trip it is.
Going to wait to see what happens with Insurance. It sucks me and the guy's mom have the same company. I'm not looking for anything but for them to total the car and pay for my chiropractor.

Sadly, its his Mom who is insured, and my gut feeling is that she believes her child did nothing wrong ... Now why is Pink Floyd "The Wall" running thru my brain ?

I believe this is the incident where the car went off a bridge.Yes! Definitely explains that fatality. MM doesn't fly well from that height.

:bs: I T- boned a car with my crown vic doing 50+mph knocked the car on the median (they made an illegal U turn in front of me) only damage I had was the front corner light and LIGHT scratches on my bumper. I was able to drive my car home no problem they needed a tow truck.
I have no idea where you got that 3mph thing from. Believe me you couldn't be anymore wrong.
My pushbar saved my car. And that's a FACT.

That was a pretty bad crash, glad to see everyone was ok. Probably wouldn't have been the case if anyone was sitting on the pass side of that buick! I'd definitely buy it back and part it out. Down payment for a new MM!

Ok...now that the pictures are up...how the hell fast were you traveling????
This accident was on surface streets right?
My focus did not sustain near that amount of damage and I hit a guy doing over 60 mph!

It is a 2 lanes on each side road I was heading south in the left lane and he was heading north in the right lane. I had a green going straight through not sure of my speed. Speed limit is 45 probably going 5-10 over. No time to react 1 second intersection is clear as I'm starting to pass through it next there is a car in front of me. Was only able to tap the brakes once or twice. I hit him perfectly in the middle of the car. The door frame was ripped way from the rest of the body.
Girl who was behind him said they were in the right lane heading north, he sped up to get in front of the car in the left lane and just suddenly cut through the intersection. Her and another witness gave statements.

Can't take the wheels off until after the adjuster looks at it. Removing anything from the car will cause it to depreciate meaning they will not give me what the car is worth.
I'm going to try to go get my Metco's and Sway bar off it regardless as they are about 2 weeks old and I have the oem parts still in the garage. Glad I don't throw anything out right away.
Once everything is up and running for the claims process on Monday I plan on talking to them about buying it back so I can part it out. Not sure what it will cost me or if they will even be willing to let me.
I mainly want the interior because I have seen a few well priced Silvers near my area but all of them have the Light Flint interior and I want the Charcoal. Easy enough to swap.

I'm glad you are ok, man. Sorry about your MM. Don't take this the wrong way, but you sure distroyed that old turd of a late 80's GM. Servers it right. It would have taken all my restraint not to get out of my car and rip the other driver to shreads verbally. What a moron. At least you have insurance.

I scrapped my car today and got mad, but after seeing what happened to you I feel a lot better... sorry.
Glad you are ok. Looks like the car held up very well!
I would fix it, but that's just me. I wouldn't care if I needed a donor car and it put me in the hole.
My K5 is from like 20 different Blazers includding a donor vehicle. None of me vehicles ever get "totaled". Their mine as long as I feel like it.
