CAM Meet, Saturday, 16 June 2012, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM, "Bob Bell" All Ford Car Show, 7125 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD (18th Annual All Ford show). 4 MMs (2 Black, 2 SB) DOOM gets his 50th Trophy :trophy1: and brings home a Best of Show. Hg M75 and Bulldog 5.0 bring their CVPIs.

CAM Meet, Saturday, 21 July 2012, 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM, 2nd Annual Captain Dan's Crab House, Eldersburg, MD. Arranged by Mebot. Lower than expected turnout due to lots of rain this year. 4MMs and 14 people. (0 Black, 1 Silver, 2 DTR, 1 Blue). Mebot has a mishap enroute to the meet. His MM is temporarily "out of service"; but he and his wife came through uninjured.

"Fallen Heroes Benefit and Concert" in support of Harford County Deputies killed in the Line of Duty in the 10 February incident. The Capital Area Marauders (CAM) had 18 people on site. 2 Black MM, 2 Blue MM, 1 DTR MM, 1 Silver MM, 1 Silver CV, and a Red Focus SE. Ben Johnson and Catherine Bach were on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with fans of the "Dukes of Hazzard". Some of the group finished the day taking advantage of the beautiful weather for a trip to the nearby Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive.

Charlie, thanks for taking the lead as our resident historian. This must have taken some time to put together. My first meet was the August 21st, 2004 meet at Big Bats. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive each way for lunch, as are many of the events. Getting to know this great group of people has been worth the long drives. Midevil Times meet was a lot of fun and made it clear to me that this was more than just a bunch of motor heads. This is a very interesting group of folks that enjoyed their cars but enjoyed life more.

As a motor head, thanks for the trip down memory lane, it's been great. We look forward to many more years for traveling down the road with good friends.

MV1 - 18-21 September 2003 Marauder Round-Up (Ennis, TX) 63 MMs final registered count. 42 MMs in the hotel lot. Tied in with Fun Ford Weekend (FFW). (before it became "Marauderville". The term was coined by BigDogJim)

MV2 - 29 July - 2 August 2004 Marauderville II -- "Invasion of Indy" (Indianapolis, IN) 70 MMs registered and over 100 people. Events coordinated with the International Mercury Owners Association (IMOA).

MV3 - 17-21 August 2005 Marauderville III/Woodward Dream Cruise “Marauders Cruisin’ Woodward Ave” (Detroit, MI). Hosted by the Motor City Marauders (MCM). Trilogy Motorsports Open House, Drag racing at Milan Speedway, Henry Ford Museum, Rouge Auto Plant, Prime location at Woodward Burger King. The lot was full 85 MMs in the lot for Saturday including Kirk's 63 & 1/2 Turquoise S-55 Super Marauder 406. Over 100 MMs in attendance over the entire week.

I've heard that the South Riding C&C out by Dulles is BIG..... Some MM.Net members have gone to that C&C in recent years.
Unfortunatel, Not many MM.Net events anymore, other than the previously mentioned Carlisle FORD shoe and the WDC in Detroit.
