OEM Stereo Volume Auto-Adjust?

I viewed a post several months ago on the site about how to adjust the auto-volume setting on the OEM stereo head unit...tried it, and it worked great! Unfortunately, I didn't write it down and recently disconnected my battery to do a K&N CAI install and the stereo didn't keep the setting. Anyone out there know the steps to re-set?
