Glad to see that you are removing the gold 'Acura NSX' rims and converting back to the polished aluminum OEM rims!
Check out the Marketplace forum/Marauder Parts For Sale on this site.
OEM Marauder rims are offered for sale quite often.
BTW: Welocme aboard the site!

LOL....
To be politically correct let's say that it has a 'Latino influence'....:P
Just as long as it doesn't have a HUGE Pontiac Firebird decal on the hood.

Getting those ghetto stainless mirror panels off is hell so I've heard. You have a date with a gallon of 3M adhesive remover!
Are you sure the mileage is accurate? Any way to verify it?

the mileage is correct verified by the state of texas and oklahoma where the car was originially purchased.

I'm not casting aspersions on anybodies ethnicity. I'm just a purist who likes to see the integrity of the Marauder's basic design and attitude respected and maintained. Once again, welcome to you and your car.;)

Looks like a bunch of ebay stick on parts intended for MGM on the doors. Use fishing line and adhesive remover and the offending items will be gone with an afternoon's work. Take your time and do it right.
Never throw anything away. Somebody on this forum or at CVPI is going to want it.
The god's head on the steering wheel looks like one of the stickers available from a site member. Lots of us have them.
You can probably find a new driver's airbag cover on ebay or they show sometimes in the marketplace here. Repainting yours is also an option, but getting the exact right shade of charcoal gray from Ford has been a problem for other members. There's a colormatch spray that is supposed to be real close.
Looks like you have an incomplete set of MARAUDER rear bumper inserts. If you are careful about taking off the remaining letters without damaging them it is possible that somebody on here will want them to replace missing letters from their own set.
Here is a cool tutorial on blacking out your marauder's trim, posted by another forum member :
http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=515615&site_id=1#import
And is that a chrome grille or just the way the black is reflecting?
http://mercurymarauder.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=15 534&d=1240854715
You might have had front end damage. Between the airbag cover, the grille, and the bright appearance of your corner lights, I think you should be checking for aftermarket lights, bumper cover, corner lights, etc.
Did your car have a clean carfax?

Ford puts our wheels out as a choice for the Mustang, but I have no idea for how much. The center caps are not cheap. That was a really good price for a low mileage MM, even with having to restore to OEM. You done good, and Welcome aboard!

Dont apologize, your right 100%
Jeez for 32k that thing looks like its been thru world war II :alone:
Here's my suggestions
Pull off that WTF intake, specter hyper filter piece of crap, get a real JLT or K&N
Replace the steering wheel airbag cover but if that badge is in good shape (and you like it) keep it on the new cover
Either finish the SS inserts, or remove them all
Shoe mirrors = no
Sell those rims ASAP and find rims that YOU like
Make sure nothing else is trashed on the car
Good luck :D

Is that corner lens photoshopped?? The orange reflector looks odd like its a CV corner lamp with a orange stripe on it. Plus it looks like you need some TLC on your rear wheel well lip.
For the price I guess its worth it.
Good luck getting back to original shape.

I was not trying to be negative about the car. Was simply offering what I mean as constructive advice and was pointing out what appeared to me to be potential damage that the owner might not have been informed about.
My DTR was in worse shape when I got it and had a lot of wrong parts from MGMs and CVPIs. I was aware that there had been previous damage to my car. But I hadn't realized exactly how substandard the repairs and replacement non-MM parts were until much later.
But slowly and surely I've been fixing what was done wrong, accumulating OEM MM parts in excellent condition, and I'll get my car the way I want it - which is not quite stock.
The pictured car has a lot of potential. And it isn't about what she looked like when you got her - it' what you do with her now. A little scrounging and some labor and you'll have an outstanding MM.

I wouldn't waste money on another air filter...I would try to make some form of sheild/divider to seperate the filter from the hot underhood air.
You don't have to apologize for the "beanered up" comment...I was just kidding about being politically correct.
I am far from it.

How's this for not minding a comment or criticism i got this from you in a PM
clearly your bored so im going to make this quick and simple for you. its not going sit with a rake when 1st its on a hill second its has oversized staggered wheels in the back to fill that gap. second if you take another look you will see that just like you marauder the entire rear is black minus the gold inserts and smoke reverse lights 3rd yes i do have 32 valve DOHC along with 4.10 gears. and and aluminum drive shaft. i have done a lot of work under the engine of this car so i think i would know what the **** kind fo car it is jackass. so please keep any other retarded questions and commentary to your self.

How you going to accuse someone of not having a real marauder then expect them to not react. Thts like me saying you don't have a real marauder. It clearly is. My is cleary a marauder and I wouldn't waste time on this site. I been overseas fighting for you'll and to come to here someone say the car I earned my money to buy isn't real is like a slap in the face.

1st I bought my Marauder brand new when they first came out. 2nd you posted a thread with your car issues not me. 3rd if your car wasnt loaded with Marquis parts (grill, headlights, park lights, rocker panels and a painted drivers air bad) there would have never been an issue if it was a genuine Marauder. You got a wrecked car but yes it is still a Marauder no slap in the face here, no matter where or how you paid for it

he of course didnt show in that reply pm that i apologized to him for how i came off as well. you cant start a reply with is that a real marauder and expect someone who clearly know its a marauder to not react negatively. he didnt start the convo on a positive so i didnt respond to him with a positive simply as that. yes it has issues but soon enough they will be corrected. congrats you bought yours new good for you. i on the other hand was in 11th grade when vehicle came out so 35,000 wasnt just sitting around to blow on a car. now that i gotta whether it has marquis parts or not its still marauder and its going to be nice once its done. musclemerc if you wanna be helpful be helpful if you wanna Criticize then do so. but dont come at me sideways and then try to change the story to make yourself look good thats little kid stuff and we are all grown men here so lets act like it.

I like the rims. I've always liked gold and black as a colour combo, not just on cars but in general. The gold bumper inserts aren't too bad, either. I do agree that the shoe mirrors have to go, though.
Don't let the comments of a few people get you down on the site. There a plenty of people here willing and able to help you with whatever projects and upgrades you have in mind. Heck, the members here know more about this car than Ford does... :D
