On a serious note - how is the quality of the taping and masking? Overspray? Orange peel? Was the body stripped of all the accessories before the paint? Black is hard to do perfectly. Did the utility company spring for the job ala their mistake?

Yup, comcast payed the whole thing. And yes the body was stripped of the accessories before the paint. There is only a tiny bit of overspray I noticed on the windshield. There was more orange peel on the factory paint than I have now:D

I have found that the parts of my MM that have been repainted are ALWAYS better than factory paint. I seem to be specializing in repaint my mishap. ;)

Wow. I'm kinda jealous. I kinda wish Time Warner would somehow scratch up my paint job to get a free repainting.

TimeWarner messed up my entertainment center when they hooked up my cable. I called it in, they sent somebody out to inspect, asked if I thought $250 would cover it, then sent me a check and said have it repaired.

It sort of helped that the unit had been delivered new 2 days before. :D

Sounds good Aaron! I have one other small complaint.... That you might be able to help me out with:cool:.... That little box that go's with my speakers is rattling like crazy! Maybe Sunday we can take a peek at it?

Paint is relative, it may have a brown cast to it, compared to what?. It may also been blacker than another black, there are very few pure blacks on factory cars. To be sure just ask to see the formula, or talk to the painter. The paint that I use, UA, has dark blue, transparent white, and a black with a slight yellow cast to it.

Your all partially right, the brown is almost either nonexistant or more pronounced depending on the brand of paint and clear. I know this all too well.:mad:
