Here is what I found the day after Easter, this was a inside job, I only lost a SLR camera. The police did get finger prints and a video from my from surveillance camera, they came in the back of the building, where there was no cameras, or motion detectors at that time. They did $3000.00 worth of damage, but as I said I was lucky we all here are fine.

Sorry to hear of this...

Interesting mode of entry however.
I never knew thos steel side building were so easily breached.

It does appear that the locations are right on the money.

Why do you suppose nothing was taken?

Well I had full motion and cameras in the front office, the lights came on at 4:AM when numb nuts ran up the stairs, then one of the guys came around from the back of the building at 4:54.39 and I got him from the far end surveillance camera, so these guys were at it for awhile, and I feel they got scarred off, a friend lost 12K last year the same way, but this will never happen again, and I am sure we will find out who was involved one way or the other.

Big megadittos on that. Former employees. I bet Dennis has a very short list of suspects already.

p.s. If there are any marauder s/c kits that turn up missing, it wasn't me. ;)

Seen that many times.... it's a very common means of entry.

Seen many holes in roofs and ceilings too.

Seen sledge hammered block walls.

Bumper jacks used in spreading doors.

Overhead doors taken apart, windows removed.

Had many people tell me I'm full of crap too, that these things don't happen.

Hope it all gets fixed up Dennis.... get a back up radio system for your alarm if you have one.....

Sorry to see you go through something like that. No matter what was taken or not, it still leaves a feeling of violation. It takes a lot to get your sense of security back.

I know people who have sold their home because of a burglary.....

The scary part is any metal building is that vulerable all it took was 2 1" snips one top one bottom and a sharp tug and those building open right up.I repair some of this kind of stuff.I seen chainsaws thru home walls also...most people thought the neighbor was cutting fire wood.

That SUX! Sorry to here it.My garage just got cleaned out pretty well last Friday during the day due to my idiot soon to be ex landlady coming around and going into the garage where she had no business and hitting the door opener button from the old apartment leaving the big door wide open.At least they didn't get my Harley.
I hope you catch the SOB's.

Well you can trust me, it will be very difficult to accomplish this again, but this really makes you think when this happens, as I said last year my friend four blocks away had the same thing happen, he lost over 12K, that is when I invested in a DVDR motion lights and cameras in all bays and out front, I never got to the back because of costs, and I honestly felt safe, in my location, no one is safe, today they are using rechargeable skill saws and crawling under SUV's and cutting off catalytic converters in shopping malls, I have a lounge and TV upstairs they will never know how close they came to getting shot, but as I said, we are fine here and busy and appreciate every ones support.

Maybe they were just under some business pressure and made a "mistake" :dunno: Sorry about your loss. My mom used to tell me about chickens coming home to roost. She didn't say anything about them breaking into buildings...sign of the times indeed. Dennis

That really sucks Dennis. I think Michael Vick still has some dogs available and I would get a Glock 36 or a shot gun for the bad guys.

I am not sure if this is street legal

Sorry to hear this Dennis. I HATE thieves and burglars! Get yourself a trained Rottweiler. Their instinct is to guard their master and their home. A good Rotty will die for you. Good dogs aren't cheap, but less then another burglary could cost you. Should there be a break in with the Rotty there, you will find the perps in the morning. Rotties will hold them there until you arrive to save them. I entrust my family to Otto everytime I leave the house to go on duty. I have no worries about their safety and pitty the fool that ever breaks in. I second the Glock 36, small, concealable, easily mastered and 45acp knock down power.
