Has anyone else had problems with their doors sticking? My front doors are a real pain in the butt to get open. Especially for my wife and kids. You really have to pull after you engage the handle. Anyone have a fix for this???:help:

go to your dealer tell them the doors need to be alligned. Don't take any crap, don't let them do the 10 minute fix. It won't last. to do it right they have to pull the dash, as to get to the hinge bolts. It takes about 3-4 hours. Then you shouldn't have any more problems.

Have the same condition on my 300A especially on the pass front door. Alignment is perfect but noticed the weatherstrip on top is cupped shaped and apparently some suction occurs when opening the door. I've started using Zep Silicone spray and so far it works just fine....

I seem to have the opposite . I sometimes have to shut the door hard as the door doesn't close right the first time . no leaks to report but sometimes it becomes annoying to have to close the door twice .
Do you clean the door jams and seals when you wash the car? This helps a lot. Ive never had a problem. If you let the seals get dirty, they can stick.

Yes they are clean . maybe its because the strips are still new ?
Try closing the door with a window open. If it closes easier, you have a pretty well sealed interior, which is good.

BadMM3- What drobin said. Dealer cleaned and siliconed weatherstripping and it was ok.

That was it . thanks Zack
On the thread that is linked in one of the above responses, One of the posters said that he had his door aligned by someone who detailed his car. Yet on this thread, it is stated that the dealer has to do some major work, including removing the dash to align the door. What kind of alignment could a detailer do?
