Well, tomorrow is the big day. About a month or so ago.. I had to rebuild the front-end (wheel hub, coil springs, uppers, lower ball joints, struts, pads, rotors).. tomorrow is the TSB kit for the axles, trac-loc rebuild, and tires (nitto 420 255/55's on rear, nitto 555 235/50's up front).
Poor marauder is nickel/diming me to death.. well more like hundred bill'n me to death.. can't complain, parts are at cost and the tech needs his laptop worked on (for flashing PCM's, have to fix/update to latest software) so I may be looking at a work trade-out :)
Have any of you guys looked at packing extra clutches/disks into the trac-loc? I've read plenty of times before that it's supposed to tighten it up & extend the life (less wear). I was thinking about having them use a couple of the used clutches/disks (if they're in good shape) to do that...
