Steering wheel leather loose

So while my MM is under the wrench, I'm getting my steering wheel leather repaired or replaced. The leather is comming loose on behind the rt side rear of the wheel. Oddly enough when my selling dealer ran my FIRST MM's oasis, one of it many owners after me had the steering wheel repaired. This makes me wonder.... is this a common problem. I guess my ESP will cover the repair. The condition is minor, however I'm fussier than most so what the hell......

Common. Had mine replaced twice.

Ford must have used cheap glue. Mine did it.

Steering wheel cover. Mine looks "BRAND NEW"
I put it on the same day I picked it up from the dealer.

The Grand Monkey has the same thing, what kind of glue should I be using?

my 2004 sb did the same thing also on the right side i just went to wal mart and bought a steering wheel cover and it matches the color perfect it looks good as well....no biggie....happy motoring
