As some of you already know I had an accident back in February where a some slick road and black ice damn near killed me and destroyed my beloved SUPERFREAK. Well she is now back in my possession and she is better than ever. The frame didnt have any damage most passenger side and rear damage. I was luck to have no front end damage besides a few broken teeth in the grill. The shop that I used is called Naz Autobody in Accokeek, MD. They didnt excellent damn near amazing work. My paint job looks way better than factory. Now for the pics

They had ordered the wrong tail lights but reordered me the correct ones. I haven't had a chance to put them on yet. I have sent them to Jon's Tinted Tails to have them professionally tinted to a dark tint. I should have them next week. I also just received a new set of SS inserts I now have the titanium ones haven't installed them yet thou. I also got a new OEM wheel Geico paid for due to the damaged one from the accident. that wheel had road rash anyway lol.

My Marauder does not I repeat does not go out in any rain only sunshine from here on out.I will get some great detailed pics real soon when my tail lights come back in from getting tinted.

Congrats!
For the record, I really like the amber CVPI signals in the lights. I was considering doing that but decided to stick with OE when I got rid of my tinted tails.

+1 on this. Dayum NATE, I didn't even hear about this. You guys are really good at keeping secrets. Glad the SUPERFREAK is back in business. I remember chasing the "freak" up I-495 past Andrews AFB enroute to the G&M meet in November 2008. Boy did she sound good.

Damage cost was $7800.00 OEM front and rear bumper covers were like $2100.00 by themselves. The insurance company did not want to pay to get the entire car painted just the damaged parts. So I had to kick in the rest the to complete entire new paint job. I didnt care thou I just wanted my car back perfect. It took over 3 months for perfection but I rather it take long and get it back right then fast and get shotty work. That shop does great paintwork.

Did you think it would turn out as well as it did?

Naz's autobody is #1 on my hit parade. Maybe exposure on this site will generate some business for him within the Marauder community.

Your area of the US has more Marauders than most.

It's hard to fess up to wrecking a Marauder around here. The ones that haven't tend to blame the driver and the one's that have know all too well how fast these MM can go off on their own in certain conditions. In the end, when the driver and passengers can walk away, shows how great these mechanical wonders really are. You can keep your imports,

Wow! They did work wonders. I'll check them out if I need work again. The minor damage I had cost $1200 (different shop). They mis-aligned the trunk lock and a year later you can see sanding marks in the bondo through the paint. It smelled like paint thinner for 6 month after I got it back.

Same (local) shop did a fantastic job on my daughter's Matrix and painted another local MM a metalic black. The guy's not a member of the net although I ran into him just before our Bert's meet and invited him to check us out. The metalic paint looks pretty good. I think it might have a hint of black cherry in it from what the body shop owner told me. I could tell. It all depends on who works on the car in the shop. Looks like they put the pros on your car.

Glad your back on the road. Looks 100% better than the silver box.:D

+1. I'm still thinking about doing that as well, I prefer the amber on a silver car.

I appreiated it for the few that did know and kept it to them selves. Its always better for the owner of said vehicle to make annoucements about it.
