What did Sherman run?

He didn't run. He watched me in support because he already had a golden ticket to the June show.

You're getting some impressive lift on the front end, got any air yet?
I wish somebody would engineer a bolt-in roll bar for our cars.

I posted the time Saturday, one hour after it happened in the shoutbox. We had so many odd problems occur before and after getting to the track it's no wonder the car ran at all. Chris Vinning worked his magic and Stephen keep one finger crossed. Talk about a roller coaster day. In the end I didn't win my Pinks ticket, but all is not lost. Chris may drive my car at Pinks All Out in June. The car should dip into the 11.40's in cooler air. Usually you will get your best run and time on the first run. My car stayed in the 11 second range and the best time came on the third run. My reaction times were better friday then saturday. Weight reduction is next, but that's a winter project.

The competition was great as always at a Pinks event. In the first round the best reaction time won a ticket in each class. I painted the light ultra red in that round with a -.328

Yes, bad red. O'well done it many times myself. The tree requries intense concentration. Good run. Good luck this summer.

I have to get going, I will be picking up my MM from Jason today. He installed the MSD LM by completely eliminating the supplied MSD wire harness and only using the PCM wiring harness - neat!!

The problems we had...

Before we loaded up to go to the track the fuel rail pressure sensor went bad and flooded the engine... no big deal didn't miss anything at the track, it rained earlier and they made first runs just after we go there.

After second run had a bad spark plug, luckily I had a set of plugs in the truck to swap out.

Then the panel under the dash wedged itself on the brake pedal and drug the brakes all the way down the track, which is why Mark thought the trans was acting up.

We got thru all the problems and everything is good. Car ran well and Marks lookin forward to get kicked outta a track this year.

The car ran in the 11's Friday and Saturday. The reason why the two red lights is because I had to cut a .00X light to win in the competition is some cases. This was my first time out this year. I need more track time to stay sharp. The two times I ran in the 12's was because of a spark plug failure and riding the brakes down the 1320. We used the MSD Launch Control once (first video) during the test-n-tune session, but the line officials said foot brake only.
