Most likely arrive late morning Saturday, clean the Marauder, stay over night, then just do Sunday's car show.

2 day or 1 day.... depends on how many days you pay for.....

More awards given out on Sunday.

1-Day car & driver = $25.00
1-Day spectator = $20.00

2-Day car & driver = $35.00
2-Day spectator = $35.00

I probably won't show or race because there's no way I'll have my car ready for either by Aug 8th. I'll just hang out and be Tom's wingman (and anyone else if they decide to race).

I am thinking of not running the RED LINE BEAUTY---I cannot get the QA-1"s and the 'line-lock' by then so I am thinking of waiting for those --I don't want to run the beauty without all it needs--after all--it all ready does 12.5 in a
1/4---so I can be patience--

Although I did get the big tires down from the attic for the race--and she hasn't been in one for awhile--I may get impatience...........who knows..........

Had no plans on owning one til my 2000 Grand Marquis was totaled then took one out for a test drive...well, you know the rest. My best buddy in the Marines had one in '64 and I loved it so naturally I just had to try it out. I don't race but do get on it from time to time, even at my advanced age. The only add on that I have is a K&N air charger system.

If you have any events coming up I'd probably be interested.

I'm in Augusta, Ga. right now, might be going back to Cary on Sunday or Monday. Maybe I will swing thru Pinehurst.

Hey Phil---With a name like 'Sweet' and also a Marauder owner--what more could you ask for---:lol:---seriously though--we are all gonna be meeting in Wilmington this Oct.17th for the show --Me and the Ms. usually come a few days early to check out the area for fun stuff and then we usually meet for a joint car wash of sorts and dinner/drinks later that night and then convoy over to the show for the day to enjoy cars and show ours off....like ^ he said above--check out the thread and come on down--may be even convoy down with someone if you decide to go--that in it self is an experience if you never done it--you think folks think your a cop now--wait till they see two or three of ya coming at once--Whoooo!!!...Tom
