PS Pump needs to be replaced. Think that's a part of my Ford Powertrain Warranty?
I have already: (with car off)
1) Pumped out resivour - Pumped in good AMSOIL Universal ATF
2) Started Car - moved wheel lock to lock a bunch
3) shut off car
4) Pumped out resivour - Pumped in good AMSOIL Universal ATF
5) Started Car - moved wheel lock to lock a bunch
Still squeals a bit (less than before) - it's more annoying than anything.
Ideas, Tips, Suggestions welcome.

Any easy way to get all fuild out? If I could would it even matter?
Thanks Guys.
If it wasnt making a noise before you changed the fluid, then there is air in the pump and normal driving; turning the wheel some more will cure it.

No it started squeeling at low speed, low throttle, tight turn conditions.
THEN: I tried to fix it. (above)
Should I just replace it? Think it's covered under my powertrain only warranty?

Turning it lock to lock while sitting will just cause stress on the pump, do some normal driving or take it to a large parking lot and do lines down the isle making left turns and right turns at varies speeds.

Ugg. Turing it lock to lock causes the fluid to get pumped and mixed.
I was trying to get old fluid out and new fluid in. This is an easy way to do it....

You can do that but have the front wheels up off the ground when doing it.

That's a great tip. I could see tire clag in my garage in one spot from doing lock to lock twice. Probably flatspotted my tires.
I still hear the squeal.

I have a squealing noise from the P/S pump on my car also and I had it on my 2 previous P71's also.
I changed to Redline P/S fluid, but it made no difference.
I think the only way to get rid of the noise is to replace the pump and hope the new pump is better.
Anybody know how the quality is on the new the P/S pumps from Ford?
Are they New or Remanufactured?

Hate to bring up an seemingly obvious question, but did you check to make sure there are no kinks in your PS lines?

Yep. No kinks - It's a lot quieter now with AMSOIL ATF "in it's veins" but it's not gone. I'll probably just get the whole assy.
I don't have a press etc.

I think they are re-man. Going to find out. I'd like to get the whole assy with new wheel already pressed on - easier to install.
