Had to share!

Well today was the day, me and my wife went down to Ohio for a day trip and picked up this beautiful blue MM. Its #232 of 328. It is the super detailed blue with 1600 miles that was for sale in Wisconsin from Mark Uhrman almost 2 years ago. It is still in great shape with only 22k miles and the seller (Jeffs) gave me alot of stuff with the sale like a MM jacket, a cover, winter wheels, all the documentation, tuner, etc. So the hunt is over, we found a stellar car.

Good to see the cars still mint, i heard somewhere on the board that whoever bought it put 10k miles on it...

Glad that isnt true

The car is still very mint, but it does have 22k on it now. The owner in Ohio put about 20k on it in a year and a half. so he was piling on the miles. But luckily he is very much a car guy and kept it nice.

Nice to see the Blues surviving. With the amount of black ones wrecked, and the DTRs I see all seeming to be beat-the-hell-up, I always wondered about how the Blues would fare.

On the topic of Blues, BAJA, who I don't even think has ever posted here but is registered, owns one that had been wrecked by a previous owner. She got it at auction and it was rebuilt by her friend who works at a Ford dealer. Same friend cloned a MGM LS into a Marauder, front to back and did an awesome job.

I remember seeing Mark Uhrman's Blue MM in Detroit during MVIII. Car was in terrific shape then and looks to be the same now. BTW -- did you get the glass dealership stand with the Window sticker on it. Mark had that as part of his Woodward display?

I got a the framed window sticker but no stand. Also got a trunk organizer, the old 3:55 gearset, full size spare with alloy MM wheel, extra HVAC head. A folder with all the documentation from when Mark ordered it. Great deal on a great car. Im frikkin stoked.

Nice blue.
Wheres the clock?

If its a true blue (which there is no doubt in my mind that it isn't) it is a 300B.... Which means that the clock is in the radio.

Oh btw! Beautiful car man! I'm glad you got what you were seeking.

Get rid of the mud flaps in the wheel wells. looks tacky

Yea, im not nuts about the mud flaps either. But i can see how they would keep the car a bit cleaner. Whoever did them did a nice job though, nice and straight and equal side to side, frt to back. Jurys out, i might yank em.

This was the blue i wanted to buy. I was one day late on seeing it and lost it. A few to many miles on the car for me now. If I had bought her she only would have had about 1800 on her buy now but it is a great buy for you man!!!

Yea, i was a little concerned before i went and saw it in person that it had "road rash" on it from the heavy driving in the last 18 months. But once i saw it I can honestly say it is still exceptionally clean. In person you would think it had 5k on it, really. Now its not uber detailed underneath like it was but it looks like a typical new car underneath. My wife wanted a blue with flint guts, but this was too nice to pass up. All the extras sealed the deal.

This Blue has been drooled over by many Wisconsin FOMOCO nuts. Glad you yanked it back from the public domain and have it in safe hands.

Now...maybe remove the mudflaps and install a twin screw?? :))

Thanks for all the positive input. I spent the afternoon detailing the car, gave it a coat of Meguiars Gold Class, an oil change, touched up a few chips. I pulled all the wheels and cleaned the insides. My wife went over the interior and wiped things down. We just went to dinner in it, when leaving I laid into it hard, it hit second and chirped real good. My boys in the back were hootin and hollerin. Couple of young gear heads. I havent been so excited about a car in a long time. I realized how *****y my first pics were, heres a few more in higher detail.

Man, i keep hearing about how people want the charcoal interior. I was looking for flint and took charcoal because NOTHING i looked at had flint in it. The other thing is how most people say the MM paint is usually not that great. This cars paint is unbeliveable and looks very thick. It has great paint, almost looks like it was cut with 1500 and buffed out.
