Just installed the AVIC F700BT in the Mach1 today, and I LOVE IT, however.....

Does anyone know how to turn that God awful beep off? The little chime that sounds everytime you hit ANY button. Its annoying and loud as hell. I can't stand it.

Good effin' luck I have been looking for it since i installed it... You will get used to it though if that helps, I hardly notice it anymore

You can get an update file, then edit the beeps out of the update and load it.

Is your's controllable via the steering-wheel mounted buttons?

Thanks, but I found the easy way lol

In Navi settings, then Sound settings, you can turn off the key noises and turn doen the volume of everything else.

Yes, SWI-PS does the trick. $60.00 as I recall Pacific Accessory Corp. I also have XM, HD radio, back up camera with parking assist. Check with Magindat, he did the install and has forgotten more than I will ever know about this stuff. Dennis
