Im looking for an oem rear spoiler for my 2003 MM - preferably new and already painted black. Does anybody have one they want to sell?

I called my local Mercury dealership and they can't get one. They had me contact a local body shop that does their work. They can get a reproduction, already painted black, and install it for a total of $400. Doesn't that seem high?

Are there any drawbacks to having a spoiler installed? Does it increase the chances of rust or corrosion since there are holes being drilled in the trunk lid?

Thanks!

That would be a roush or bondurant spoiler not a OEM spoiler

Provided it looks like the factory item, I think the quote of $400 for an installed spoiler wasn't that bad a price.

I was told that it looks exactly like the factory spoiler. Now that I think about it, painted and installed for $400 doesn't sound too bad. Thanks!

Really?! I checked with my local Mercury dealership and they said they couldn't get it. Maybe I'll check with the Ford dealership down the street from my office. They aren't a Mercury dealership, but maybe they can get it. Thanks!!!

I purchased it from John Kennedy Ford in Conshohocken, PA

You may have to pay a little more as I have a law enforcement agency account there, but they didn't even blink an eye when I ordered it, they even asked "how many"? I don't have the part number handy but the parts guy found it immediately when I told him 2004 Mercury Marauder.

Bham did you have any luck ordering one from this Ford dealership? for $125??

A local Ford dealer told me it'd be $600 installed from them,

so when I bought the painted one on eBay for like $225 and had it installed for about $130 I was pretty happy.
