I talked to my local FLM dealer and they are estimating $350 for a front end alignment. This sounds a bit steep.

Is this in-line with what others have paid? Is there somewhere else that could do this better/cheaper?

Ask if you get free lube with that!

Alignment should be no more than $90.00.

Try an NTB store.

Make sure they have the right adapters so your wheels don't get damaged.

My dealer (did I tell you I love my dealer) let me use the shop foreman, while I watched... worked his ass off for about 3 hours mounting, balancing and installing 2 new fronts and doing a Carfixer aligment. $94.00..Did I mention they matched the best price I could find on the internet for my Nitto 555's? and they were manufactured this year. Come on down ..I will fix you up. Dennis:D Tito is right on the money. $69.00 for the alignment

run away!!! run as fast as you can from them thiefs!!! should be about $65 and up. I called a firestone tire store and for $159 you get as many alignments you want for as long as you own the car. but they will only do factory specs and no custom specs like carfixers specs. a local place by my house will do custom specs for $79 and up.

I don't do alignments, nor never have, but I've been told that you really have to hit something hard to cause an alignment to "move". More than likely there are worn parts that are causing this mis-alignment, that should be fixed first. When I was young, my father use to hate to hit a rail-road crossing fast, because he thought that it would hurt the alignment, not true now. I know I'll here a lot of bashing, but the alignment of a car changes minutely every mile you drive, as suspension, and tires wear, it's only when a major change occurs, or we notice tire wear that we have an alignment done.

Previous owner didn't have to pay, plus he received two new kdw's.

I'd call them back and ask if that included two new front tires.
I paid a local guy 90.00 for alighnment on the Marauder.
I know he was less aggressive with the camber than the car was set from the factory.
I could tell as soon as I drove it.
I do miss the handleing that the factory specs offered, but I was hardly able to get 15K out of a set of front tires without the inside edge of the front tires dissapearing.

Was this including any replacement parts? I went with Firestone complete car repair and paid $150.00 for lifetime of me owning the car.

Unfortunately I have been there way to often, lately. I hope I am done except for routine for awhile. I will see Herb for an oil change and tranny dump next week. I drain the tranny pan every couple of oil changes. I know overkill but my tranny works hard every time out of the barn. Dennis
