I put a set on the Marauder last week and tried to get the alignment done today. I'm still at -1.0 on camber. I read through the threads and didn't see where anyone has solved this issue. Has anyone come up with a solution?
You have to remove the factory adjustment tabs that are welded onto the bolts.

I didn't remove the them but I did turn them 90* out of the way. Would that work the same?

No, the flag has to come completely off. Bending them up, is not going to allow the camber cam enough movement.

Crap! Can I break the tab off or do I need to remove the bolt to take the tab off?

Don't remove the bolt, it's under a ton of tension from your coil springs!! You have to break the tab off.

I too have the same problem. Minus the Eibach springs.
And I can assure everybody the flags have been removed on mine.
I have about 7k miles on my fronts and they are starting to feather on one side, and the other is wearing like alot of MM's do

Thanks for the tip. I'm aware of the pressure but others may not. I'll give this another go at it. Thanks

the tabs are staked on pretty darn well, I had to use an air cutoff wheel and then a heavy cold chisel & hammer to get them off.

How many miles are on your car? You may have one or multiple components worn badly.

75k
Have had it up on jack stands many time and had it at 2 alignment shops. All components appear to be in good condition.
Looked at alignment sheet again its not 1.0. but 0.6

This Guy also has the same problem. Not sure if he got it solved or not.^^

Would carfixer's specs be limited only to stock wheels and tires?

I have -1 deg camber on mine as well with the Eibachs. Everything else is set to the recommended specs from carfixer but the camber wouldn't come in. I expected that though with it being lowered.
Has anyone made a bump-steer kit for our cars? Would make the handling just right if I had that.

No. They are within the range of stock specs, just less aggressive. They are basically zero toe and very little camber. It's how you would align granny's Buick Roadmaster. These cars eat tires a lot more than they should. I am running -1.0 camber on another 4 door car w/ performance directional tires and have been for 20k miles, driving really hard, and the tires wear perfectly evenly.

Your car has less miles on it than mine(83K) so I don't know what the answer is yet. I completely missed the thread you highlighted. I wished I had read that before going to the shop. I'm not surrendering yet.

OK. Just got back from the shop and the guy says that removing the flags(which he had bent out of the way) will not do anything to help because the bolts are at the bottom of the slot. No movement room left. So now what?

My car actually never ate front tires till I lowered it, now with 10,000 lowered miles they are eating away at the insides, but she handles great! I think I will look into this more however since i've just been sitting around lately anyways plus the fact I have a lifetime warranty on the alighment.

I think you're right about the lowering part. I do like the way it looks and handles.

You have to remove the factory adjustment tabs that are welded onto the bolts.
Exactly.
We did that to mine and used Carfixer's specs and I have absolutelty no abnormal wear after nearly 15k on these tires.

I just visited a specialty shop that does alignment and frame straightening only. The mechanic says to solve the camber problem he would loosen the upper control arms and move them out then make the adjustment through the lower control arm adjustment bolt for fine tuning. This makes sense to me but why has no one mentioned this?

I had the same question but the mechanic at the dealership said that the adjustment for the upper control arm is not there for camber adjustment. He suggested filing the slots in the k member in towards the motor to get a little more adjustment. Please post your results cause I like your mechanics solution a whole lot better!

Well it turns out that the upper control arms are not adjustable. What we were seeing was the suspension cradle that the engine rests on. It can be adjusted but you move the whole cradle. If you have stock springs you should have no problems adjusting with the flags removed. If you use lowering springs it will be close to meet the specs with the maximum adjustment. Carfixer updated his specs and the closest we could get was -0.5 camber. That is within carfixers update. I was at -1.0 before we started. Hope this helps and answers most questions. I posted the updated specs. I'll let you know how well this worked in 10,000 miles but that may take a while.
