Alright, so you did the O-ring thing and it didn't work? HERE'S THE BAND-AID!!!!

So a friend came over and we were bound to fix this issue or at least find a temp fix for it.

We did.....

This mod will keep the air to the vents in the dash, and the Max-AC door open. However... You will lose defrost and floor functions.

Mods, please make this a sticky so folks can read it and have a temp solution untill they can afford a new EATC if thiers is dead like mine.

Disconnect the harness between the car and EATC thats under the center console, very easy to get to no tools required. Take very small hose and a vacuum T. Connect a hose to the BLACK line on the CAR side of the harness under the dash. Take the other 2 from the T and put them over the BLUE and WHITE.

You will now have Air that you can control with any temp out of ONLY the vents. For winter use simply plug in the EATC.

Hope this helps those of you like myself that can't afford a 600-800$ part right now. :party:

now if yo take it 1 step further, open eatc disconnect soleniods for defrost and heater. This way in case you need defrost you just have to press defrost and vacume will default to defrost and floor, for those rainny nights......

where did you get the hose and vacuum T from ? Any specific sizes?
