My car is from Florida. I am in Canada so I installed Daytime Running Lights (as per the laws here). My instructions for installing a DRL (Daytime Running Light Module) calls for a Brown wire to go to "Pin#14 in C2145b at LCM (Light Control Module). Does anyone know where this is or tell me what to look for??
The Lighting Control Module is in the center of the IP - right behind the gauges / climate control head. It is a pain to remove.
I looked in the Ford service manual and it says that connector C2145b pin #4 feeds CIRCUIT 14 and is a BROWN wire. It feeds 'exterior lamps' per the manual. There are 16 wire ports on this connector. If you hold the connector such that it forms a slight 'U' shape (flanges on the edges turn upward), the wire ports are numbered from right to left 1-6 on top row and then 7 - 16 right to left on the bottom row... (yes, top row has 6 ports and the bottom row has 10 so it should be easy to figure out which is the top row). The one you'll be looking for is the third from the left in the top row with the brown wire.
This should get you a little closer.
