I called the local FLM dealer here to order 4 new shocks. While she was entering the car on the computer to look up the parts she said "I can't seem to find Marauder listed here." Then I heard some guy in the background tell her to use "full size Mercury." She quoted me the price on the shocks. The fronts were about the same price as the Motorcraft ones on Rock Auto but the rears were suspiciously less. I obviously don't want to get the shocks for grandmas GM here. Does anyone have the part numbers for the OEM front and rear replacements to order? I've done a couple searches but to no avail.

Wow that is really bad. Yeah the Sheehy dealer in Springfield, VA, never knew what kind of car my Marauder was either (the few times I actually went to a dealer when I still had a warranty)

Went in to pick up a tube of touch-up paint in Dark Blue Pearl (DBP) last week (Paint Code "DX") and my Ford dealer couldn't find a part number listed under '03 Marauder. Had to tell them that my wife's '06 FreeStyle was the same color.

I really like the KYB's on the Marauder. Lifetime warranty too.

There are no '03 Marauders - only '03 GM's w/300A or 300B option packages.
'04 has the Marauder model designation.

I have taken my Marauder to the local Ford dealer for all my maintenance & repair work for the last 2 years & every time they send me a book of coupons in the mail it says "For your 2004 Mercury Grand Marqus".

It's not listed specifically.. in the catalog system the ford models are usually broken down.. for example (and examples only, cant remember exactly) mustang, f150, etc...

Looking for the MM you just select the mercury line.. and maybe "car" if I remember right.. after you do a search by base code or description you usually have to weed through a lot of results looking for "marauder" in the description.. sort of a pain... but it works..

I do some work for the local dealer.. and to save the part guys the trouble (and I enjoy it) I usually just hop on the computer and look up stuff myself.. including pricing... that's a whole other beast though..

And if I ask about a part, the parts dept supervisor can throw a base code back at me quicker than I can type usually.. haha
