Is it me or is our car just as intimidating as a New P71( Crown vic)..while coming back in forth from FT Bragg to DC i drive with just the parking lights on depending if its a drk overcast or evening. i do no less than 80 Mph in the fast lane... i approach cars from behind fast and thunderus.... they just move out the way like a state troopers coming. I can only imagine if you take a glance in the rear view and theres a mean lookin blk tinted out panther coming your way like a speeding bullet... your thinkin oh SH#$, Heart drops and then butterflies... DAMN I LOVE MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so you guys get it Moses and The Red Sea LMAO

yeap i know exactly how you feel. on my black 00 p71 i used to have I had the whole shabang.
I had go rhino bumper gaurd, spot lights, cb radio and antennaes, police steelies and center caps, tints , with a drop down dvd player that amusingly people told me looks like a labtop screen at night! LMAO I KNOW exactly how you feel! LOl its either the cops will follow you like a hog or give you salute!Unfortunately i hated the fact of getting pulled over left and right and have my marauder to pimp on now!
I scared one of my best friends I've known for 16 years that way, flew up an onramp onto I-64 and he had just passed by, Rick Rolled his ass into changing lanes before he realized it was me, when he did, he called me on my cell phone and let me have it, but I was long gone, ha! I had the bra on, he said the black and blue combo that appeared in his rear view out of nowhere gave him the hershey squirts.

I roll up on folks at 80 all the time, just over the weekend i rolled up on a soccer mom talking on her phone ,sat there for about 10 sec, then she noticed the car, she ripped the cell from her ear and signaled a lane change so I followed her over, saw her punch her steering wheel....waited about 15 sec and then signaled lane change and roared by her with my shiney none police rims....pretty sure she cussed me out when I went by :D

this is one very good reason that i love these cars. i always drive no less then 70 in any lane. the old 1996 p71 i had was awsome 2 spotlights push bar and 3 antenas on the trunk. oh and it still had the wig wags and the sirens in it. and with 200,000 miles it still got with it. its cause of that car i love panthers.

You people are why I constantly get asked if it's a special edition police car. I hate that people compare it to a police car, it's not even close, how can you guys enjoy this so much?

Everyone forgets to mention the constant threat and sometimes follow through of driving a car that looks like a police car...I dont know about your cars, but mines been keyed 3-4 times...and It makes me sick.

...actually this can turn on you I also have had people keep strictly to the speed limit on a posted 35mph road when I was behind them and i know the traffic flow is normally in the 45-50 mph range.

The Marauder looks a lot more like a grand marquis than a crown vic from the nose, and the smoked headlights take away a lot from the CV-ness. I speed a lot and fly up on people from behind and nobody gets out of the way or confuses me for a cop.

I try not to have this happen... I have emergency lights in the grill and mounted from my rear view mirror for the fire department and I tried to make it stealthy so people don't see them too much, but when the sun shines on my windshield and people see the LED's under the rear view mirror they move VERY quickly... Whenever I drive with my parking lights on, I have the foglights on too, to try and give it away that I am not a cop. I'd be lying if I said I never sped down the highway in the left lane parting the seas tho... Gotta do what you gotta do when you are late! haha

That's really the best way that I have described it to people for what it's like driving a Marauder on the highway. Moses parting sea.
Hmm I wonder if that tag is taken here in MD.
