I called yesterday to check on the date for the 9/11 Car Show in Orlando. I got a call back today and was advised that due to budget problems at the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the show will not be held this year. They are hoping to have it again next year. It is a shame as it was a great show and we all had a good time.
Now last year after the show, we all convoyed to Old Town in Kissimmee for their Saturday night show and all the Panthers and Cop cars were a hit. I thoroughly enjoyed this as did everyone else. The folks at Old Town said they want us to come back every year.
Well, seeing as we won't be going to Orlando, I was wondering if there would be any interest here to convoy over from Pinellas County and all points between to Old Town for a Saturday Night Show in September. If there is enough interest, I will call the nice lady I spoke with last year and set it up.
