Tinted or S55 tails

What is everyone's opinion on which taillights look better? I have never seen either in person so don't really have knowledge to make a decision.

justbob has the s55 and takedown has his tinted. i have seen them both and i like the tinted ones better. (no offence bob but i like drews taillights better)

I am going to slightly tint my tails and reverse lights with the paint stuff.... forgot... might be this S55 stuff being spoken in this thread.

I'm not a fan of the "s55".. remind me of 90s pickups and suv's that would sport those plastic covers on their tail lamps. Just my opinion tho.

Pick up a dual pig tail set from e-bay or from the dealer. 2 additional bulbs for each side in the lower empty area will do.

I like both treatments but have to agree with the tinted on black. Maybe I will try and do both treatments and see how that turns out.

I tinted my tailights a few months ago and it has completely changed the look of the car, made it far more intimidating, but I have been wondering for a while were can I get those covers for the backup or reverse lights?

I don't recall what I paid, I think it was 20 bucks for both sets. I soldered them in ('cause wire clips are for Loosers).

Jon's Tinted Tails tinted a set of P71 (Police Interceptor) tail lamps for me.

Just tint the indents less than the rest.

I did the S55 on my black, but if I had it to do over again I would tint them. It adds a sweet look to the car.

What do the tinted lights look like with the lights on in the daylight and the dark? I'd hate to get clocked in the rear because some moron couldn't see my lights. :mad2::censor::shake:
