Wow, I don't think I've ever been hounded to get something done as much as I did this review! That's a good thing I think!!

Kook's has really stepped up to the plate and has a heck of an impressive product on their hands, I heartily predict they'll sell quite a few systems, of that, there can be no doubt.

If you aren't running mid-length headers, then you need to seriously consider it.

You da ****zle, ma nizzle...

Few tiny questions:

What size (including thread type) are the studs / new header bolts??? I need to go buy all the little doo-dad parts prior to starting this project. I'm thinking of getting a set of ARP header bolts and just replacing all the studs. Think that sounds like a worthwhile plan?? If I do go that route, should I go with the black oxide fasteners, or the stainless fasteners? I don't know if there's a difference in applications or simply looks.

How many studs did you actually swap out?

Well, ... I heard Logan's new exhaust tonight. All I can say is: WOW! It sounds freakin' great! A nice deep rumble at idle, and at WOT, .... Holy $h!t!!!!

Ya know, I wasn't thinking about doing anything to my exhaust, now I am!

Tom's right. It was a cool sound and the parking lot exit was impressive as well...Hello (and goodbye) Christmas bonus money...

It sounds as though I might need a new exhaust system.
All I've done to date is swap mufflers...all else is OEM.

The sound I'm getting is not what I want to hear at any engine speed.
I don't want 'crackle's' nor pop...had enough (loud) pipes to last me awhile...just want deep, throaty sounds...like a big engine sounds.

I really don't want to invest too much in this car for several reasons...but a few coins on the 'rumble' could be justified.

Where would one have to go for custom exhaust service??
(Kook's or whom ever)

There are usually custom exhaust shops in most major centers, contact your local mustang club for preferred local shops...

Guy I use is a hole-in-the-wall type shop, but he's a wizard with a torch. :)

The equipment is the easy part, getting the right guy for the install is almost more important!

Logan - You sure got that right. Installation is the most important part.

It's salvageable, the content will exist in the template content repository in the admin panel, but I don't have access, so someone else will have to retrieve it...

OK Someone else, please either make Logan and Admin, or retrieve the write up.

It should be in the Garage anyway as a sticky!

No. In the Admin panel, in the templates section, there should be a custom template called kooks or something similar, which if you open it, will contain the complete installation write-up of the Kooks...

I guess Mary didn't find it. Maybe after MV, unless Logan kept it somewhere on his computer?

No kooks.php, nothing found under Styles and Templates, through Search in Templates.

Wow, guess what I found on my computer???

I had copied/pasted Logan's original instructions, then Cyclone03's updates, BillyGMan's comments, Zack's findings, and other information learned from various installations into a word document!

It is in reverse chronological order, but a lot of good info can be found in it if anybody wants it let me know.

Yes, I did......as well as reviewing all the custom templates, in case it was called something else.
