If I have recently replaced my OEM mufflers with DeltaFlow 40 series but retained the resonator tips, is it necessary to disconnect the battery for a period of time; allowing the 'computer' to make an adjustment to the different hardware??

Advice would be appreciated.

No, replacing exhaust components does not require any PCM reset at all. You won't see much other than tonal differences and levels in your exhaust. Just changing mufflers will result in negligble power increase.
