hello fellas, i was following my lady yesterday, she was driving my car, i was driving what she calls her PT looserrrr! dont kno why. well we are at the light and i told her i wanted to see how the car looks when it shifts to 2nd gear at wot, off she went, on that 2nd gear shift, it shirp real loud as usual, but a puff of white smoke came out at the same time. cant tell if its from the exhaust or the tires, (which i doubt) help, im concern.

i have all cats deleted, factory manifolds, x-pipe,magnaflow murflers,lidio 4.10 tune,k&n cai, live in ocala ,fl.

do i need a dyno tune, since i have no cats ? or
do i have bigger problems than that?

also about 90 degrees outside, and car at normal temp. THANKS.

i bough the car with 36k, three years after 79k. (never seen that before).

I think its your tires that let out the puff of white smoke. Im pretty sure if you had a engine problem you would see the smoke at all times.

hopefully its that, i didnt know that it shifted that hard for it to do that, even tho those tires pull out a lot of smoke. thanks man

Im goin with tires as well, can't really think of anything else that would only show smoke at red line.

My 1st 03 which was S/C'ed did it everytime right at shift at WOT from 1st to 2nd seemed like some valve seepage at very high RPM range? Did it everytime but never really became a problem, noticed the 1st time a friend videod the pass at the track.
