When I had my blower off a couple weeks ago there was a small amount of oil clinging to everything in the intake. Not much, but some. Also oiling in the IAC causing a bad start from time to time. Plus i've been checking out all the blown mustangs at the local shows and this link is pretty much what they are running, some have an a mini air filter on the top, some none at all. On the ones with the clear hose you can see that it definately has captured quite a bit in its lifetime. Do the experienced think this would work or a complete waste of money? I am not wanting to invest much money on something that does the exact same thing, also I don't want to waste money on something that doesn't work. I noticed a few mopar boys in his feedback went with this.

Won't hurt anything but a waste of $$$'s unless you plan to bump the boost up considerably.....even then I question the value of this device??

I use a UPR catch can and I see a few ounces of motor oil every week in the can. What you are looking at on E-bay seems fine and is a much cheeper solutions then I have.

Is there a filter involved? That little blue thing maybe?

Not sure about filter, I believe that is a check valve.
