Saw another black MM at Race City. Anyone here?

One of the race crew for sure, saw them leaving as I was heading back after dinner.

As an aside - I have some good footage of two original GT-40s racing in the Vintage races, against a 68 Challenger 440 Hemi 6-pack. ;) One of the owners of the GT-40 owns the original Gulf livery GT-40.

I'm sorry to say that the friday secret street was as bad of an experiance as I have ever had at the track. 4 1/2 hours and 2 runs. The worst track prep. I have ever been on, but I guess what do you expect when the track is shutting down.

So when you guys are going to an event in Edmonton, let me know because I will be in.

I figured it would be you. ;) That was me waving "Hi" as I turned into the Flying J on Barlow South. Yea, the track sucked. I was getting pelted with fist sized chunks on turn 5 and 7 as it broke up. I was one of the white shirts.

The track owner doesn't want to pay for upgrades if he's losing the land next year. But from what I heard, he's been doing it for years too.

Next race is June 20, 21 at CFB Edmonton. If you want to attend, you have to fill out the security form in advance. I can give you a link if you like, but its on the NASCC website.

Then July 2,3 for the Stampede race! Yeehaaaa!

whats the stampede race? Sounds like fun.

This weekend was the season opener race for NASCC. There will be 2 races at CFB Edmonton, July 4, 5 Stampede Race will basically be the same thing as this weekend at Race City. Hopefully with less potholes.
