I have this squeaky sound comming from what I believe is the passanger side front wheel area. I hear it when I go over bumps I hear it when someone shuts the passanger side front door and it's just getting on my nerves. I am assuming that it is either the shocks or the springs (asked a few people that I assume know more about cars then I do) people I know said they can't say for sure just hearing it. I already bought Eiboch springs and I am going to get KYB shocks once I stop buying other stuff like mufflers and chin spoilers etc.. and get focused. So what does everybody think, am I on the right track here and can I expect that sound to go away?

Probably the hood.....very common problem!!:argue: When driving slowly with the squeak happening....pop the hood latch.....if it stops do the following!!
Adjust and grease the corner stops...also grease the latch and that should fix you up!!
Its probably one of 2 things:
The actual door seal near the windshield needs to be lubricated (happened on my car)
Or:
There is a clip that holds the heat shielding onto the floor (above the transmission) that is either loose or not there at all. (hppened to me as well)
Good luck!
...or it could be the dreaded hood squeak.
Check the rubber snubber for the hood on that side. Turn it in or out a 1/4 turn and see if helps. Or, put a little grease on it.

Had the same problem on my Marauder and a 05 CV. I sprayed some lithium grease on the hood latch and solved problem for both. Good Luck!

..........
I see this is common, I've been hearing that sound on my car for the past year, it drives me nuts but it's inaudible when the system is up but it can be heard when you close any door or drive slow over bumps. I'll mess with it when I get home next week cuz i thought it was suspension related.

the 2 hood stoppers (rubber) are the problem I found the grease was to messy. Put some pads of some type over the rubber part that touched the body of the car. The little square foam pads are good they are not visable and stick to the rubber stops. Mine have stopped all the squeeking. I have had them on there for about 6 months no issues. You can buy them at walmart, in the stationary department. 3.00.
Drove me nuts for a year. Lincolns hae the same issue.
