While driving to my local Ford dealer to pick up the parts I ordered to do the electric gas door conversion in my 300B, I find myself following a car hauler with a Navigator on the back. I swing around to pass and "holy **ap", it's an 04 black MM AANNNDD a red 04 MM nose to nose on the hauler. On their way to Signature L/M in LV. So now I'm at Gaudin Ford and what comes in on a tow truck? A silver 03 MM! Quick talk with the tow driver says it's a "theft recovery"??!!!! and the owner is Ford Motor Credit? Sounds like more of a repo than a theft. No plates on it either. I think I originally came from a Calif dealer. Anyone lose a silver one? I know where it is....

You know what? I was thinking of it over dinner.. we should go halves on that silver marauder. You and I can mod the heck out of that silver one and have a visitation schedule with it. That way we both have a marauder that is nice and buttoned up at home, and another we can build and kill unsuspecting camaros.

Honestly, if that silver one is a good deal, maybe look it over and consider it an investment.

Could have been a "demo" that some one took off with?

Maybe the guys at the crap table now trying to win it back

ref the Gas door. I have almost all the parts. Have to get the door painted. The part number shows it for a 2001-2004, but it sure looks just like the 93 to 97 doors. After it's painted, I will do a tech article with photos to walk everyone through it. It's an easy mod if you consider taking the left side of the car apart is easy...

Ref the silver MM. Susan says "no", two are enough......But the nephew sure could use a new car..yeah, the nephew needs a new car.....

No the harnesses are different, different part numbers. The pre-decontented 300B's may still have them , and some cars until they used up any harnesses they had left waiting to go in cars. If it's not taped into the rear harness on the left side, it's not there. You have to run a new wire from the door all the way back to the fuel door. I did it on my 99 CVPI daily driver to get a dry run in case of any problems. The gas door I got had a dent in it so I'm waiting for another one.
