Went to the track yesterday and......

First time to the track since I actually got it running right and with my left headlight out and my mirrors folded in my best time was 14.29 at 98.22 mph and it was 61 degrees. My current mods are 4.10s, zack tune, and a jlt cai. Hopefully a intake spacer and ud pullies can pull me a 13 sec run. I'm still running with a 3.55 tune also so I don't know how much time that's effecting.

You Marylanders should get in the car like right now and start driving west...real fast...there's a hot rod, street rod and rat rod get together at the Moorhead, Minn 1/4 miles strip tomorrow. Weather should be in the high 50's. $30 for all the runs you can make. I'm gonna wash the car tonight, clean the air filter, load up on a bit of 92 octane because they don't have any steenkin 93 octane in ND or Minn, remove the headlight and swivel those mirrors back and try and get out of the lame 14.5's tomorrow. I'll bring beer and brats for any other Marauders that show up.

got her all clean and shiny for the car show last night. nice cold overcast morning...got the headlight out, tire pressures set...get to the track at 10:30 all fired up to get some great runs...eat brats..wait for them to finish prepping the track...they say the track will open at 1:00...waiting impatiently...and then it friggin rains at 12:45...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrr

yarg...I see you are in western chi town...My older bro lives in Bartlett (we grew up in wrigleyville before it was called wrigleyville) and is in the market for a toy in the near future. I had my black 03 up there over the Xmas holidays and I think he got the bug...might be leaning towards picking up a Marauder now instead of his mid life crisis Vette. He went to a big collectors auction over in Indiana or Michigan in May and didn't see anything he liked. Can you drop me a PM next time theres a Windy City get together so he can go and scope out what a S/C MM is all about and also maybe get a good look at the different colors?
