I guess for whatever reason I thought that it would just screw on or something to that effect, looks like I was wrong. So did all of you, who have it, just use double sided tape to get it to stick to the car? Or am I just completely missing something :stupid:. Thanks for the help...again.

Attach the front center first, then using the friction pins enclosed drill a few holes to hold the thing on making sure it it flush to the wheelwells. At this point I hammered it home with about 20 more wafer-head self-tapping SS screws.

didn't realize that I would have to drill into the bumper... guess I need to go get some screws. Has anybody used the tape or is that just a bad idea?

I wouldn't recommend it if your going to invest in a spoiler. Might as well do it properly the first time! ;-)

I used a metric butt ton of #10 sheet metal screws. Start from the middle, work your way out from there.

got mine on ebay for $74.00, just got done with the install. Used the self tapping screws with washers and some crazy glue to make sure it was flush to the body and. I was sort of scared to drill holes in the car at first, but once I got going it was fairly easy, except near the corners there is a rubbery piece that was hard to get the push pins through ontop of the bumper itself. Now I need to get the Aero Exhaust mufflers installed probably do that in about 2 weeks.

if you ever end up putting the chin spoiler on let me know how much room you have between the ground and the chin spoiler.I bought some Eibachs springs a while back and I am curiouse to know what sort of clearance space I will have once I get around to buying new shocks and installing it all.

I usee 1/4" plastic push rivets only. This way if tou hit something hard enough you won't tear big hole in your bumper.
Mark the middle of the bumper with some painters tape. Do the same to the spoiler. Match up the marks. Drill 1/4" holes thru the spoiler into the bumper, insert push rivets. It helps to have a couple of extra hands to keep it aligned.

Don't have a camera, sorry also my computer is so messed up right now that I cant even put pictures on it. I wil say this though. I am not the person that you want working on your car I don't know anything, but I was able to do it with no problem so I think anyone could do it. Just scary to drill holes in the car.

Don't use just double-sided tape. The front air dam on my 85 Saleen used tape across the middle and only had screws at the ends (from Saleen like that). Didn't take too many triple digit runs to have the whole thing pull down in the middle. Tried re-taping it with fresh tape a couple times and then countersunk screws across the front and gave up on the tape. Was able to get it finished so the screw heads are completely covered (flexible filler and paint). Works great. Go with screws.
