Ford 4.10 gears $150 from buyfordracing.com. Good or bad?

I am searching for 8.8 4.10's for my marauder and found it very cheap from www.buyfordracing.com (http://www.buyfordracing.com). They were 170 but are on sale now for $150!! Is this a reliable. good goto site? They are a certified distrubutor of ford racing parts. Any input is great! I soon realized they are also for 150 from summitracing.com

Here is a lil info from there "about us" page.We have always been a family-owned and Ford-loyal operation. Since 1986, we have been a Ford Motorsport / Ford Racing distributor and have been a Top Ten distributor since 1991, out of several hundred distributors.

I also found them for $179 from jegs.com I've heard of them somewhat I think its a good site...not to sure though.

The product # from both of these sites is M-4209-G410A* . is that correct?

I got mine from buyfordracing.com. No problems. Both them and Summit are good and reliable. As ctrltraven said, go with the cheaper one after shipping.

I bought mine from Blue Oval on eBay, $149.99 for the gears and $19 for shipping. That's their everyday price.

if you are doing gears, might want to think about putting in carbon clutches for the trac-loc, they are a nice upgrade...

thanks guys! yea i will be installing 4.10s soon but i am first getting the Dr or Lidio tune within a month and hopefully get soem trap times in

Go with Lidio, DR's tune are too harsh.

I bought my 4.10s from them. The $150 was the shipped price and I had them in two days. Watch where you buy your extras from, there is a large difference in price. The IIRC the install kit was 60% less from Summit than these guys. However, the trac lok rebuild kit was 50% cheaper at Buyfordracing than Summit. ???? pays to shop around. Shipping was VERY fast from both.
