31 spline setup?

I am getting ready to install my 4:10's and I figured I'd go with a 31 spline setup. figured I'd get ready for down the line:D. I know we can use the 31 spline axles out of a 06 CVPI. I had my parts guys check some part #'s. Our differential case part # is different when compared to a 06 CVPI. My question is has anyone ever tryed to install differential pinion & side gears from a 06 CVPI into our differential case. If not what diff are you guys using for your 31 spline axle swap.

I have Moser 31 spline axles, and an Eaton 31 spline posi. Had this N/A since last september, no problems. Will be supercharged on wednesday, don't expect any problems after that either, but you never know.

I'd assume that since it's still and 8.8" rear all the parts should fit.

I just got a differential from the 2005 and up Mustang GT. It is also 31 spline. I know this because the 28 spline axle shaft went through it.
