Welcome aboard!

That's not a bad price at all considering a $35K sticker. If you were willing to look outside your area, though...you could probably find another $1-$2K. Just depends on your time and willingness to look.

ANGRRMGT,
Like your taste in cars.
I have had a 2000 Corvette Coupe for almost 4 years now and get spoiled by it. When it came time to replace my wife's Olds 1984 98, I had a hard time because the Marauder did not drive well in August 2002 for my money. Well, after a year, Ford updated enough of the car and the programming to win me and my wife over. Now we have a Blue MM and a Nassau Blue Corvette.
BTW, I miss the Heads Up Display that I have in the Vette when I am driving the Marauder, but there are times like tomorrow when I need passenger space for 3 or more people.
Welcome to this wonderful web site!!!

GordonB.

thanks gordon. i really love the z06..i just would like to take the family out for a cruise in a genuine american hotrod. so, the z06 is for me...on the weekends...and the marauder is for the family. we also have a 02 v6 accord to use when it rains of course,...who care about the honda if it gets messy....

Not sure what my exact numbers are on 04 Marauder's... I can hook up 03's for $26.5k to $27.5k here in Dallas, depending on the options and the model.

The 04's might be a bit higher, but less than $28k no problem. $29k isn't a bad deal at all, it's about $1500 under dealer invoice.

thanks logan.. still dont understand though why dealers would sell a 04 that just came out for 1500 under invoice, i mean, i'm happy to get that price but it does not make sense to me....must be factory incentives to dealer

I got quoted 29,000 for an '04 here in the Trenton, NJ area. So your price is only 850. higher. In the ballpark...........

Yep. Think there's $3500 or $4K rebates on 04's right now...

Hey, if you're interested, up in Boston area there's a few dealers listing '03's for $275ish, also New London L/M has an "A" on the lot that they'll deal for. Both locales may be closer to you.

Before you decide for sure on an '04, you might check out some of the posts on this board about the differences between the '03 and '04. There have been a few things deleted from the '04 which you might want on your car. On the other hand, they have added dual knock sensors which the '03 doesn't have. Just a thought. Welcome to the club. Whichever model you get, you will fall in love.

thanks, i will..i was going to try to get an 03..but the discounts on 04's are too good to pass up. plus, like you said..the 04 has dual knock sensors and a heavy duty transmission with from what i've read, a firmer shfting trans for "better low end response". we'll see.
