I'm looking to install a CAI system on my 2003 MM. Does anyone have an opinion as to which is better - JLT or K&N? Thanks!

No need to respond. I found a similar thread from last month.

Yeah... PLENTY of threads on here about that!!! There is a new thread about it posted weekly!!! hahaha

I have k&n... I love it... Price could play a role in which one you go with, but I am sure they are equally decent!!!

Was the K&N easy to install?

Extremely! It is a piece of cake for someone who is decent with their hands and reading directions... Took me like 30 minutes

K&N wasn't to hard to install. Some of the instructions need a bit of interpretation but not to hard otherwise. Took me and Ms. D about an hour. I notice the increase in HP when trying to pass other cars. Still on the fence about MPG claims from K&N, will run a few more tanks at normal driving speeds and conditions.

I personally don't like the hadware store PVC pipe look under the hood.

Went with The K&N got it cheaper that a JLT. Can't beat that, Or the sound
