New tranny and engine

I'm in maryland and I am looking for a reputable speed shop.Planning new tranny and engine change. I would like to put in a supercharged crate motor....any recommendations. Not looking for more than 425 hp.

425 HP? Then why bother getting a built motor. Throw a supercharger on your car and have it tuned and you will be fine.

If you are going to build a motor then build something that will hold up and give you some decent HP! Dont limit yourself to that low number until you talk to some of these engine builders. I believe you can get a reliable built motor that is putting out alot more HP then what you are looking at. Again call around and talk to people before you limit yourself. Just my .02.
