View Full Version : rear engine cooling kit

i purchased the rear engine cooling kit that goes into th back of the head (as aposed to the one that goes into the top rear of the head), but it did not come with any paper work , i was wondering if anyone had the directions, specificly the hose routing so that i can install it in the car?
i will be pulling the trans as soon as i get the new one asembled and i want to do it all at once.

Actually, I had pics from DR when he sold the kit originally Is yours assembled or in pieces. I bought mine secondhand and it came together.

its in pieces, and i am not sure its coplete, there is the 2 fitings for the head, a T fitting, and 2 pieces of hose, 1 short elbow, and 1 elbow with a real long leg, and several clamps.

I know that mine required 2 t-fittings.

yeh i think i am missing pieces, but i havent gotten a responce back from the seller, it was supposed to be brand new and complete !

I don't understand this, is there room to install this mod with the engine in the car?

yeh, with the trans out there is, i built a new tranny and figured that since the trans is gonna be out i mind as well get a little cheap insurance .

i bought it from someone that got it from reinhart, and i just heard from the guy, he said that they weren't in there when he got them, but he did direct me to a picture of the set up on the motor, but that kind of makes it look like all 4 hoses go together.
