The hardest part (5 mins) was to push the EGR bolts back in and get them threaded.

I paid $79 for a nice billit unit from KarKraft (sad they are going out of business)

8mm and 10mm bolts, took off rear cable bracket.
Used a TON of Berrymans to clean all of the OIL in the upper intake area.

How to install a PHP spacer - (useless damn site this is -- no howto on this)

Disconnect Air intake at tbody
remove PCV hose
remove one or two vaccume connections on passerger side
Remove EGR bolts (you can actually leave them in by a few threads)
Then remove the cable bracket at the rear
remove all 8mm bolts
lift intake up
spray the crap out of it all with tbody cleaner - oil & carbon is everywhere inside (read: brown and black)
Slide in gasket and spacer from front to back
Drop bolts in and around - wiggle whole assy to seat them
Start in the center and go round and round twice (gaskets compresses quite a bit)
Don't overtighten - around 8 pounds is all you need
Hook up vac hoses
Hook up air intake to tbody

Done.

Car does feel better in the midrange now seems to pull better at lower revs.
probably helps that I cleaned all the crap out of it too.

Going to the drags on Sunday so we'll see.

Seems like a worthwhile mod.

It took me about 45 total. I took my time and cleaned top cover plus intake inside and out.

The EGR gasket is a thin metal gasket which is re-useable.
