..I think I've read all the threads about the AC O-ring replacement, but I can't seem to find a place that explains how to get the trim panel off, I'd be really mad if I broke it trying to remove it, can any one help, the wife and I are going to do this next week-end. Also the gear selector must have to be in neutral, right?

If its anything like the vics, it pulls right off.

Plastic tool pry thingy. Or screw driver with a small rag. Don't get your hopes up though. It didn't do $@!% on my car.

Its very simple once you do it for the first time:

Open pass side door, where trim starts, grab a hold of the side and gently pull towards you...it will pop right out...then carefully go along towards the steering wheel doing the same thing....if you have a clock in the dash you will have wires going to the back of the trim panel....also there will be wires going to the defrost button you will have to disconnect these...you will also have to gently pull around where the a/c is as the black trim around it goes with the trim piece. Then you can remove entire piece and place in back seat...then you will have 4 screws that hold the a/c in place....once you unscrew those you can pull out the a/c and then you will have 2 wire connectors and the vacuum hose that you will have to take off to get the a/c unit out. The vacuum hose release is on the pass side floor board behind the carpet next to where your left foot would be against the dive shaft well.

Hope that helps.

Or, unhook the vacuum lines from the back of the unit.
