SVT Plaques. What gives?

Has anyone gotten any new word on the plaques that SVT was considering for us Maruader owners? They took all my info last year, and I've heard nothing since. :depress:

I have VERY little hope of this actually happening.

First, the SVT division was disbanded a few years ago...second, with all the financial problems plaguing Ford (and every other car manufacturer) I doubt they give a rat's heiny about this anymore.

Third, this has been going on for so long that I feel if they had any intention of doing it in the first place, they would have done so by now.

I think MartyO had the badges made custom for those rigs.....


There will be Certificates of Authenticity soon..... alot sooner than any stinkin' badges....... we don't need no stinking badges!!!

O's fan, no fail, I cracked up at your post :) I got your drift first time around but couldn't resist responding.

P71, Call SVT for an update on the certs. 1-800-367-3788 is the number in my cell phone from when I owned a few of those hand assembled motors.

Even though SVT was "dismantled," in a way it wasn't. They still had/have a few engineers kicking around that helped develope the Raptor and GT500, hence why it wears SVT badges.

They know about us. They just want to get it perfect, unlike our Marauders - great cars but certainly not perfect ;)
