Has anyone changed their shifter to something like a B&M hammer etc.

eg.

I ask because I really hate our shifter... I really really hate it, enough so to spend $200 just so I don't have to look at it anymore
I know it's for the stang, but if the bracket that it sits on is the same it seems like it might go under the current bezel ok.

I'll second that question, while it's not a horrible feeling shifter I wouldn't mind something a little nicer looking at least.

I'm kinda shocked that no one has tried this yet... someone has to have had this itch? Zack, Ford Nut, TMF?...

here is my question about the bracket it bolts to, under the console. Is that something that depends on the trans? IE If I get a shifter for the 4R70w is my only issue going to be possible cutting of the console? or is there a bracket issue as far as it bolting up?

Could do what ImpalaSlayer did and put a flight stick on it. Though the missile buttons won't work like they do in the fighter jets lol.

It is all custom underneath. There are no after market direct replacements for the original.
