So they have finally started lowering their prices? Last year it would have been 18- high 19. Whats funnier is I only paid 22,500 back in 04 w/14,000 miles. After that the prices went up a little and stayed for years.

I got my 04 S.B. from the carmax out Rockville, MD , perfect new condition w/ 38k for like $21,000, they high as hell but I didn't care, it's a MM and their inventory is decent, especially how they can transport from other states. I would buy another car from them with no problem, best car buying experience ever , and it's my 7th car in 6 years lol

I have made a few purchases from Carmax. I liked the over all deal, though the prices are on the high side, the cars are in good shape.

I really like the no BS deals. You see the price and you make your purchase. Watch out on the trades, they with F you on that.

No trades and a decent down payment and your good to go.

I have to point out that CarMax does not do "trades." They buying and selling processes are completely different. I'm not sure there is any need to "look out." They offer a price to buy your car -- any car -- and you either take their offer or not. I'm extremely impressed with their business model.

Got my SB MM with <17K miles 2 weeks ago from Carmax. Had it transferred from NC to TN. Paid more, but got more with no BS. Great transaction, awesome car!

They really must b hurting for money. when i purchased mine.. a few months ago it had 26k miles on it and they asked $16,995 for it....

we have bought 2 cars from carmax and have had an enjoyable expereince both times. they even gave us about $3000 more on our car than what we owed the first time we bought from them. i most likely will never buy from another dealer unless its carmax. considering we have a lawsuit against a dealer right now.

i too bought my 2004 dtr in march 09 26000 miles for $17900. a little high. sure. but hassel free and no 2nd guessing as to what i bought from them.
