View Full Version : SuperchipsTuner
Anyone heard anything from Superchips on the progress of the updated Tuners? Everytime I've asked they have said about 2 weeks. Been saying that for 2 months.

Check out Modular Depot. Looks like for now they are going to be the only authorized resellers of the SCT Racer and Racer Pro custom tuning package. They are going to start taking orders on Monday morning (but haven't announced a shipping date yet), then I think chips are on the slate next and will be sold through many different vendors. The SCT software is going to rock. It will let you be your own tuner and flash your PCM at will!

I thought that Cole Performance which is right here on this board is a distributor too. Has something happened that I've missed?

I'm referring to the new Super Chips Custom Tuning Software Only. I am under the impression that many will sell its chip version that is really the great tuning provided by Fordchip and Jerry W. Then there is the new Pro Racer Package which will be akin to a Diablo Predator in a way, then the full blown Pro Racer Package that gives you "full control" but starts you off with a base tune using Jerry's magic. You can read more on ModularDepot. I hesitate to explain too much here as there is a ton of info on their site and they are "The Man" when it comes to getting the Pro Racer version according to them and Jerry W. Also, Jerry has been answering questions directly on that forum.

thanks.......
The 1725 Handheld Tuner is what I was referring to. All the functions (Gears Tires etc.) was supposed to be working according to the salesman when I purchased mine 2 months ago.
I sent it back to Superchips for the options to be added to the data base and everyone at Superchips gives a different date everytime I call. Wouldn't be as bad but I went ahead and changed my gears on the assumption it was working now having to drive careful because of shift points spedo etc. Hate to buy anything else at this point but may have to.

Maybe you should try Cole Performance here just to see if he can help make any headway. He should know someone there to call and at least help attack from another angle?

Hey Rat and/or anyone with the 1725
I'm considering purchasing this tuner. What specifics do you like...dislike? Should I wait for the updated program?
Thanks

There is a group buy going on now for this tuner. Look in the Innovative Interceptors forum if you are interested.

ColePerformance, Superchips can not enforce sale prices. THIS IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL. they may suggest to an authorized dealer to protect their market share not to ADVERTISE prices below a certain point, so all authorized dealers can advertise that their prices can not be beat. truth is their prices are very easily beat. ie.) circuit city or best buy. I call the place in new York (sbh corp or smile photo video) and they easily beat them by a big/huge margin (30%). tuners can be sold at any price. why do you bring up price every time? we don't buy from you because you attitude, not price.
