how on earth did you get them mounted?
I was a moron and tried taking the old ones off before reading up, luckily the grill badge is just a bolt-in basically but the trunk lid on will require a re-adhesive job to get it back on if things don't pan out. :(
I feel seriously stupid now.
I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice on how you did it, the quicker they come would be infinitely awesome.

They come with adhesive tape. Take off the old badge, clean area, mount new badge. If you have to replace the tape get 3M molding tape, available at any FLAPS.

unfortunately, not that easy.
The grille would be easy, except for the fact that in the center of the recess is a small raised area that accepts the post on the original emblem that keeps it from being a flush mount and is too small to be an acceptable surface area to expect any serious long-lasting hold, plus it just looks awful to try it that way.
The problem with the trunk lid is very simple: while it is an even surface, it is curved, but the badge is not.
I would've hoped that when paying an excessively high price for a high-quality part that's PURPOSE MADE for my vehicle, it would at least be molded to fit correctly. :(

Gotta drill out the raised portion of the front grille with a hole saw so the emblem lays flat.
You should have one flat emblem and one curved emblem, the latter going on the trunk.
Don't let any salt water get on the "tripple chrome plating" it will pit and corrode leaving pox marks all over our God of Speed.

Once again, I admit my stupidity. :P Indeed, one of them is curved, in my frustration I failed to notice the difference between the two.
With the grill I thought that that was what I may have to do, I was just hoping I wouldn't have to hack and slash away at it if I could avoid it.
In any case, thank you very much. :)

Honestly, I felt teh same way. Good news is if you want to go back to stock, all you need is a big washer, so no big deal.
Good luck.
